You can’t apply for a job with us using a paper form and we do not accept speculative CVs.
If you have a disability that prevents you from completing an online form, please contact the HR Helpdesk, on 0121 345 8884 or email HRhelpdesk@biglotteryfund.org.uk, who will be happy to help.
When you apply, you will be asked for evidence of your right to live and work in the UK and references from previous employers.
The application form is your first opportunity to demonstrate how you meet the skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours required for the position you are applying for. It is important that you refer to the advertisement when completing your application form, to remind you what the role is and what skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours are required. This will increase your chances of being invited to the next stage of the selection process.
Please refer to our advice for candidates Advice for candidates applying for vacancies for guidance and useful tips on completing your application.
You only need to apply once for a vacancy. Occasionally we contact applicants to explain that, although they have not been appointed for a particular vacancy, we will hold their details on a reserve list in case similar vacancies arise.

The Big Lottery Fund is committed to considering and addressing equality issues in all aspects of its business, including how we recruit and employ our staff. This means we think about the needs and experiences of people from different backgrounds (for example, by gender, race, disability and sexual orientation) and we work to ensure that as far as possible we avoid treating people unfairly.
The Big Lottery Fund is proud to be a two tick symbol user and is committed to interviewing applicants with a disability if they meet the minimum criteria for a job vacancy.
The Big Lottery Fund will make any reasonable adjustments for applicants with a disability at all stages of the selection process. To assist us, applicants with a disability should declare they have a disability on the application form, and let us know of any requirements.
